Services

Health and Safety Support
Pro-Vision understands that small companies cannot afford to have a permanent full-time health & safety representative employed and therefore this is the cost effective solution to overcoming this problem.

A retainer simply assists your company to meet certain obligations under health, safety, environmental & further associated legislation by providing a group of services into one package.

We can offer the following support:

Creation of a Health and Safety policy.
Support during a workplace accident.
Review of your workplace risk assessments.
Guidance with Health and Safety documentation and legislation

We can visit your premises and inspect to a similar standard as an enforcing authority (but with a smile!), and then provide you with a detailed inspection report and solutions to your problems.

These are just some of the ways we can support you and be there every step of your journey.

Risk Management:

Risk management, risk mitigation and risk transfer

Manage your risk at every step of the hierarchy of control.

Achieving true clarity around your health and safety risks can be complex, time consuming and require a level of technical expertise you might not have within your business. Pro-Vision can help you create a proactive risk management strategy that keeps your workplace environments compliant and your employees safe, healthy, and productive at work.

Some high-risk tasks are simply too complex, costly, or specialised to train your own people to do. Our wide range of specialist services includes inspection, fall protection, rescue services and maintenance.

Gap Analysis – a review of where your site is, compared to acceptable situations, what should be improved and at what priority level?

Bow tie analysis is mostly used for risks that pose elevated levels of risk, and specifically those with high consequences. It describes the risk as some happenings that subsequently leads to a consequence.

Applying a risk-based approach to managing safety means understanding the risk you are trying to manage. We can be there to analyse and communicate on how risk scenarios can be developed to a broad audience.

OCCUPATIONAL HEALTH SUPPORT

Noise surveys

The Control of Noise at Work Regulations (CNAWR) places a duty on employers to make an assessment of noise exposure within their workplace and ensure that noise exposure levels are reduced to as low as reasonably practicable. In addition, there is a specific requirement for those employees’ exposures to average noise levels exceeding 80dB to undergo an ongoing regime of health surveillance.

the Noise at Work assessment is completed in three stages.

1. Conduct an on-site Noise Survey and conduct a series of noise measurements across the working day to determine the level of noise exposure.

2. Assess the noise exposure risks considering the personal noise doses of employees against the noise exposure action values and limits as set out by the Noise at Work Regulations 2005.

3. Advise on noise mitigation actions such as hearing protection, train employees, and reduce noise levels at source by altering the working process.

Whether you require an L108 workplace noise survey report, health surveillance or just simply advice, you can be reassured we will be able to help.

DSE/Ergonomic assessment

The assessment consists of assessment, training and information on entitlements. It is comprehensive and will allow the DSE user to assess his or her own workstation and make adjustments to reduce the risk of ill health, stress and visual discomfort.

The assessment can be for individuals, teams, departments, or companywide - it is not confined to just offices.

Assessments comply with Display Screen Equipment regulations 1992 amended 2002 and all other relevant legislation along with good practice and ergonomic standards.

We’re experienced at completing ergonomic and DSE risk assessments so we can support you with the entire process. From carrying out the risk assessment to offering advice on solutions for any risks that arise, at Pro-vision we are here to help.
